Judging a Book by its Cover (2)

This is a feature that was started by Sara at Forever 17 Books after she read  this babble article.  I decided to join in because I love getting the innocent and oh so insightful opinion of kids.  My 4 year old son and 3 year old daughter took a look at the cover of one of my favorites.  I asked them to look at the cover and tell me what they thought the book was about.

Daughter (age 3):  This is about shoes and it gots a machine in it and that’s the body (points at leg).  Her wants to dance with her pretty shoe.

Son (age 4): This is about a leg with a machine in it.  It makes her walk and kick and walk like a mummy.  The shoe is fancy because it’s magic.

(You get a bonus “e” since we’ve been talking about capital and lower case letters.)

Would you like to join in?  All you need is a kid (your own or a nice/nephew/cousin/friend) a book and some paper and crayons!  More details here.

  1. The Ships’s Voyages…

I believe know-how just makes it worse. Now there is a channel to hardly ever care, now there will not be a likelihood for them to find out….
