Weekly Remainders (10)

Hello!  I was on vacation for most of last week and it was great because I was able to catch up on some reading.  I think the best book I read was My Life Next Door.  My review goes up tomorrow, but if you haven’t picked up this YA contemporary, you are missing out!

Here are the books I got this week:

For the Southern Book Bloggers ARC Tour:

From Harlequin Teen and NetGalley (very excited about this one):

From Scholastic and NetGalley:

My reviews this week:
Blue Asylum by Kathy Hepinstall
One Moment by Kristina McBride
Once by Anna Carey

What I’m reading this week:
The Forsaken by Lisa Stasse
Dark Companion by Marty Acosta

Thanks to all who entered my Such A Rush giveaway!  I’ll be emailing the two winners today.

On Thursday, (7-19) I will be posting an interview with John Corey Whaley about his award winning book, Where Things Come Back.  Its paperback release is coming up and if you haven’t had a chance to read this amazing story, I will be giving away two copies.

I hope you have a great week full of great books!

  1. Ahhh! I love ALL the books! 🙂 I’m on The Forsaken Tour, too, but on the second leg. I can’t wait to receive and devour it. I just added The Dark Unwinding to my Wish List a week or two ago. Doesn’t it sound/look amazing?!

I haven’t read Where Things Come Back, though it _is_ on my Wish List. I can’t wait to read the author review and enter your giveaway. I must read it soon, because I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.

Hope you enjoy all your lovelies, Kate 🙂 Happy reading!

    My book haul!

  2. Ooh, The Raven Boys. That looks really good, but Scholastic is pretty picky on NetGalley. Fortunately, Harlequin is not, and they’ll probably approve me for Speechless. Yay!

  3. I absolutely agree – My Life Next Door is a fantastic contemporary for this year. And yay for Speechless, The Raven Boys and The Dark Unwinding! I’ve read Speechless and loved it; can’t wait to read the other two – which I also have!

  4. Very good written information. It will be valuable to anyone who usess it, including yours truly :). Keep up the good work – can’r wait to read more posts.
