TGIF: Books That Keep Getting Pushed Down The List

I am participating in the weekly TGIF meme, hosted by G Reads.

To-Be-Read’s: How big is your pile? Which book keeps getting pushed down the stack, but you keep meaning to read it?

Oh, dear.  Well, like any avid reader, my TBR is quite big.  I have been really trying to go through my NetGalley books this month, so I can read and giveaway some of the hard copies I’ve recently purchased.  Here are five of the books I keep pushing down the list:

Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer:  I realize I’m the last person on earth who hasn’t read these and they have been sitting by my my bed forever.  Perhaps it is because I already know a lot about the books since they have almost become a part of the Collective Subconscious.

Outlander #1 by Diana Gabaldon: This is another popular series that I own but have not read.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick: I have had this for a while, but will be reading it this week, hopefully.

The Eleventh Plague by Jeff Hirsch: This is another one that I will be reading this week. I’ve heard really good things about it!

Happenings this week!

  1. The first two books of Lesley Livingston’s Wondrous Strange series have been on my TBR shelf for over a year. Yet somehow, they keep getting pushed back. And Girl With The Dragon Tattoo…no matter how many times I try to get through it, I just can’t seem to. Back on the shelf it goes.

I have read book one of the Outlander series — but I can’t seem to get myself to finish the series. And I need to!!

  3. That is TOTALLY understandable about Twilight! If you know how it ends up and so much about the main story line, it kind of makes the book a little less “READ ME NOW”-ish, but just promise you will read it eventually. Your book reading world will never be the same!
