It’s been a pretty quiet week around here.  I am working through my September book pile and getting ready for Texas Teen Book Festival.  Happily, I got a few books in the mail this week.

From Harper Collins:

book2 book1

From Disney and Bog Honcho Media:

book3

I am looking forward to reading these beauties!

Have a wonderful week and happy reading!

  1. Ooo, A Thousand Nights! I quite enjoyed that one – it was nothing like The Wrath and the Dawn (which I’d/I’ve been seeing a lot of people talk about, saying this one was too similar to The Wrath and the Dawn). I thought this one was a much darker, less romancey retelling of One Thousand and One Nights. Love!

I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Kate!

  2. A Thousand Nights was good! I didn’t fall completely in love with it, but I do think that the way that she put her own twist on this fairytale-inspired story was interesting. Happy reading!
