Stacking the shelves is a weekly feature started by Tynga’s Reviews. You can learn more about it by going here.
August is always a bit sleepy in publishing as Europe practically shuts down for vacations and everyone in the US tries to soak up that last bit of summer. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t books to be had!
I got a few eGalleys this week:
Thank you, Harper Teen, WilliamMorrow, Random House, and Disney!
August Reading Goals:
It’s time to get ready for the insanity that is September! I have lost count of how many amazing books will be out this fall, but I am going to try to get a jump on September by reading these lovelies.
On the eGalley side, I am going to try to read these:
The Weight of Feathers by Anna-Marie McLemore
Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
Goodbye Stranger by Rebecca Stead
Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
How was your week? Happy Reading!

I’m seriously SOOOO excited for THE LIES ABOUT TRUTH! I loveeeeeeee her debut novel, FAKING NORMAL, and I hope I love this one just as much!
September is definitely a busy book month and I’m like you and will have some big stacks to get through these next two months. But we got this!
I am looking forward to it, too!
I see that we both got Hunter this week. I felt bad that they ran out of it at BEA so fast, so I’m glad that I got the E-Galley. Great stack of books this week. I’m participating in ARC August, so hopefully that will bring down my review pile.

ARC August would be a good idea if you want to make headway in tot big stack. Good luck!
OohI spot a Six of Crows! I hope you enjoy These Shallow Graves, I’ve been eyeing it from afar for a while.
I grabbed it because of the author!
Great haul! Hope you have a fantastic week!

Thanks, you too!
I got approved for my first eGalley yesterday. I’m so excited. 🙂
Congrats!!! It’s a great feeling!
Awesome haul this week! I really want to check out The Lies About Truth because it sounds incredible. I’ve heard some pretty good things about it already too. Good luck with your August reading goals!

Thanks! Good luck with yours, as well! 🙂
I just got caught up on my ARCs and got a couple from the library, but as soon as I finish them it’s back to those I need to review. I’m trying to get my NetGalley % up, so I’m going to read everything I’ve got and post my reviews there, even if the book isn’t out for months! I have Dumplin’ on my personal TBR, but couldn’t get it from the publisher.
I am so curious about These ShallowGraves. You’ve got to tell me your thoughts. I hope you live SoC <3
I can’t wait to read SoC!
I adored Dumplin – it was such a wonderful read. Looking forward to Leila Sales’ latest, and, of course, Six of Crows.
I am realllly looking forward to Dumplin’
Looks like we will be reading a few of the same books this month! I wish you luck on your goal! And great haul too! I also got Hunter this week, I am excited to read it!
Here is my StS
