Stacking the shelves is a weekly feature started by Tynga’s Reviews. You can learn more about it by going here.
Happy Saturday! Things were pretty quiet this week on the book front. I got a few eGalleys:
Thank you St. Martin’s and Simon & Schuster!
..and these lovely finished copies
Thank you Algonquin and Harper Collins!
My Secret Sister sent a fabulous October package and even sent something for the kids and gifted me an eBook! She is one amazing lady!
A few weeks ago, Ashley (NoseGraze) created a plug in that allows you to create icons to tag your posts. I bought it because I love her products (seriously, her UBB plug in was life changing), and decided to use the new feature to tag books that were in categories that people might be interested in when they are borwsing for books. I am always looking for ways to make all of my reviews more accessible. I’ve been blogging for over 4 years now, so being able to sort hundreds of reviews in a user friendly way gets more challenging. Also, I am not design or code savvy. At all. I am always getting requests for lists of my favorite books , romance recs, audio books, or YA books that are accessible to all age ranges. Of course, I had to have a Texas Author tag, as well! So, if you see one of these icons at the bottom of the post, you can click on it to see all of the other books that have been tagged with that same icon. (I purchased the images from Shutterstock and used PicMonkey to add the text.)
Romance Favorite Audiobook Favorite Texas Author
YA for all ages All-Time Favorite
So, that’s about it! How was your week? How are your October reading goals coming along? Thanks for stopping by!
The last week was pretty good. Actually enjoying the rain we are getting today (hope where you are isn’t flooding!). I got that Acts of God book too. No clue what it is but I’ll have to give it a go.
I hope you love all your new books. Your secret sister was very nice to give you those gifts and hope your kid loves them as well.

Your SS is amazing! I love the themed package. I didn’t *love* the SSAD series, but book one was really good. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
Have a fabulous week, Kate. 🙂
Check out my STS post!
Love your icons. Cheers
What a fun package, I’ve always wanted to read Something Strange and Deadly. Love Blind looks intriguing as well. Love the icons!
