Stacking The Shelves

Stacking the shelves is a weekly feature started by Tynga’s Reviews.  You can learn more about it by going here.

My husband has been away, so we’ve been in survival mode all week.  My hat is off to you if you are a single parent or have a spouse/partner who travels a lot.  I am exhausted!

My kids got their Scholastic book order in this week so there was much excitement about that and my son finally, finally agreed to let me read Harry Potter to him. (My daughter didn’t agree, per say, but she has been listening in every night.)  He is really into it and it’s so adorable.  We are also very excited about reading Princess Black by Shannon Hale.

Anyway, onto book stuff!

Thank you, Macmillan, for the lovely finished copy of First & Then!

  1. I forgot to add First & Then to my STS this week, but I’ll be sure to put it in next time. So, thank you & Macmillan too 🙂 I can’t wait to read Passenger as well. Happy weekend! It’s so awesome that your son is enjoying HP. Fist bump him for me, will you? LOL

  2. I love the Passenger package! I was so excited to receive it. I really hope we both love the book. I have high hopes. Hopefully your hubby gets home soon. I look forward so much to reading Harry Potter to my son! How old is yours? I don’t know when the best age would be. Guessing older than mine is now…he’s prob not mature enough just yet.

  3. I blush to admit I’m probably the only person in the world who hasn’t read Harry Potter. It just doesn’t appeal to me, but once I started it, I’d probably love it!
    Go Cubbies.
