Monthly Dispatch: January

So, January.  Well, 2016 stated with quite a bang.  This has been one hell of a month a home and at work.  So, I didn’t get a lot done, blog-wise or reading-wise.  Some months are like that, though, so I’ll just hope for better things in February!

It was a great month for books, though! Tor, Riveted Lit, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, and Disney all sent awesome book mail.

I read 20 books this month and I think my favorites were Up To This Pointe by Jennifer Longo and Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes, which I listened to on audio.

My TBR for February is very big since March and April will be full of great new releases.  I am also contemplating making a TBR jar for some reach back.

Here are the physical ARCs I hope to read, with a little bit of Mardi Gras flair for decoration:

That’s it for this month.  I’ll be featuring my first new blogger later in the month and I’m really excited about that!

How was your January?

  1. Happy reading, Kate! I hope you get even more reading done in February <3 January was also a busy month for me (in real life), but I still managed to squeeze in some really great reads, including The Shadow Queen which is a new favorite!
