Part of my 2015 goals involved making monthly TBRs. This breaks everything down, keeps me honest as far as writing reviews within 4-6 weeks of the book’s release, and making progress on my book pile. I have a list for in print books and ARC, and an e-galley/e-book list.
Here are the physical books I am planning to read:
Finished Books:
Memory Of Water
Dead Of Winter
The Conspiracy of Us
Cut Me Free
Promise Me Something
Rogue Wave
As you can see I’m trying to incorporate some reach-backs with the new and upcoming titles.
Here are the e-galleys/e-b0oks:
(I’ve already finished a few of them)
Perfect Couple by Jennifer Echols – Finished
Polaris by Mindee Arnett – Finished
Playlist for the Dead by Michelle Falkoff – Finished
A Memory Of Violets by Hazel Gaynor – Finished
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard – Finished
The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand – Finished
My Heart an Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga
Amherst by William Nicholson
A Cold Legacy by Megan Shepherd – Finished
There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake – Finished
Vivian Apple At The End of the World by Katie Coyle – Finished
Whew! Tired, yet? I am! I’ll check back in a little less than a month and we’ll see how I did. How about your January pile? How’s it going?

I’m very curious about Rogue Wave. I was a bit mixed about the first book and wonder if the series improves. the covers are SO BEAUTIFUL. I find that making the monthly TBR piles/post has helped me stay on track most of the time.
Let’s see; I have a TBR list that’s growing, although not as fast as yours! I’m trying to finish All the Light We Cannot See from the library; I also have the first Raven Boys on loan. My book club is reading Lizzy and Jane for January, and I just received Still Life by Christa Parrish that I’m super excited about! Good luck with your goals!
Great list! I loved Red Queen, and am looking forward to Polaris. Monthly tbr lists are a great idea, I think I’ll start doing that too. My pile is out of control. 🙂
Great list of books to read. I am curious about There will be Lies. I really enjoyed Hostage Three. Can’t wait to see some of your reviews. I am trying to be good with my review books too. I have never been good at reading them and posting a review before the release.
I am trying to make a pile, but then I got request eARCs that are releasing soon and I need to read them ASAP so I sabotage myself all the time!
That’s a good accountability idea. I see so many that are unfamiliar in your pile. Look forward to seeing what they are about.
Good luck on your goals. I think its a great idea to set aside books that I plan on reading. I just pick up whatever I feel like reading next. Maybe I should do this as well.
I finished one and am almost done with a second on my list! Very excited to start my next one, if I can stop requesting new library books before I get to it. 🙂
