Five years! I can’t believe it’s been that long, to be honest, but when I look back at all of my reviews, I can see the result of this labor of love. Blogging has changed a lot in the last five years, and I am excited by all of the creativity I see because there are bloggers who are really working hard to spread their love of books in a positive way. If I had to offer some unsolicited advice after five years, it would be to focus on why you started blogging in the first place. Don’t get too caught up in what everyone else is doing or how you can get more/do more/be more than the person next to you. My favorite blogs are usually not the “big” blogs with thousands of followers. Sincerity wins over popularity, both in life and in blogging.
As always, I want to say that book blogging has been such an immense source of joy in my life. I don’t know what I would do without it.
