Feature and Follow Friday!

Welcome to another feature and follow Friday hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read!

The question this week is a good one:

This Holiday season, what book would you give to everyone if you could?

I am actually giving a lot of books as Christmas gifts this year, but there is no way I could narrow it down to one.  Here are some books that I am giving as gifts because I feel so strongly that they must be read.

The first book in some addictive series:
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Birthmarked by Caragh O’Brien
White Cat by Holly Black

Come stand alones that I loved:
The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
Domestic Violets by Matthew Norman
In The Woods by Tana French

It was a slow week for me due to a round of sickness in my household, but I did manage to post two reviews:

Crossed by Ally Condie
Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

I am posting my 2011 favorites next week, including two author interviews and a big giveaway that will have two winners!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I loved Clockwork Angel and am awaiting Clockwork Prince. So many books and so little time. I also loved White Cat. Holly Black is one of my favorite writers.

Thanks for stopping by and following. I happily followed you back. Have a great weekend.

  2. I promised a couple of fellow book bloggers I wouldn’t “machine gun” my Follow Friday posts on the blogs I visit but this week’s Follow Friday has inspired me to make an important exception.

The book I think everyone should read is a work of non-fiction called The Four Hour Workweek. The thing is, the book is very well written and entertaining so it reads like a work of fiction. What the book can do to enhance your life and change the way you live day by day seems unbelievable on its face which might mark it a legitimate work of fiction for the skeptics out there.

If you read this work of non-fiction and really follow the advice it gives and apply the insights you’ll gain, your life will read like a modern tale fairytale.

I encourage, implore and even insist you follow me back to my book blog so you can find out why I think EVERYONE should read The Four Hour Workweek – http://www.howardsherman.net
