Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
My favorite read so far this year has been a book titled, Violent Ends. It’s basically a book based on a school shooting and is told from 17 points of view; including the gun. Yeah, it’s pretty raw and real, but I love that in stories.
A couple of favorites: V.E. Schwab’s A Darker Shade of Magic and Rachel Caine’s Ink and Bone.
For me, the real standout was the critical favorite — A Little Life. It really is quite good, IMHO. 🙂 Thanks for this great opportunity! Cheers, Kara S

My favorite book of the year is Carry On.
It was Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.
I’d say my favourite read was probably Red Queen. It just fell into my lap at a time I needed a fast paced read, and I loved it!

I discovered the First Fifteen Lives of Harry August a while after everyone else and I was blown away. I just read her second book (Touch) as well which was also pretty darn amazing.
