Photobucket

My reviews are about 60% Young Adult, with the other 40% being adult fiction, memoirs and biographies.  This list is made up of the fiction and memoirs that made me think, cry and laugh out loud.  In no particular order…..

The Language Of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
Domestic Violets by Matthew Norman
Becoming Marie Antoinette by Juliet Grey
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
The Magicians by Lev Grossman
The Leftovers by Tom Perrotta
Long Drive Home by Will Allison
Bossypants by Tina Fey
The Map Of My Dead Pilots by Colleen Mondor
Second Nature by Jacquelyn Mitchard

Honorable Mentions
These are books that I really loved this year, but were published before 2011.
A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick
The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
The Likeness by Tana French

What do you think?  Leave a comment and tell me about some books you read this year that really stayed with you.

Come back tomorrow, because I will be interviewing Matt Norman, author of Domestic Violets!
