So, after all of the dust settled, I decided that what I really wanted to do was a weekly post where I talk about what I’ve gotten this week, what reviews I’ve written this week and any other book or blog related items I’ve come across. It isn’t meant as some big statement about the recent plagiarism scandal at The Story Siren or the blogger wars that occurred after the fact. Obviously plagiarism is wrong, but I really don’t feel the need to add my own essay on its evils. We all know it’s unethical. What I really want to do is stay focused on the reason I started this blog – to read, review and give away books. It’s very simple, really. If you are participating in your own weekly wrap-up or would just like to me visit your blog, please leave a link. I always try to return comments and I love seeing what others have to say!
*When I lived in Boston I used to love browsing the shelves at the Harvard Book Store and going to the basement where the remainders were sold. It was a great way for me to get some very interesting books on my modest teacher’s budget. That’s where I got the name for this weekly feature.
Thank you, Simon and Schuster for sending me Wentworth Hall! I can’t wait to read it and be on the look-out for an awesome historical giveaway!
I picked up a few books on NetGalley:
Books I bought:
Reviews I posted this week:
Ladies In Waiting by Laura L. Sullivan
The Good Father by Diane Chamberlain
The Unbearable Bookclub for Unsinkable Girls by Julie Schumacher
Far From Here by Nicole Baart
What I’m reading this week:
Wentworth Hall by Abby Grahame
Fallen by Lauren Kate
Insurgent by Veronica Roth
The BIG release this week was, of course, Insurgent! There is a whole story of how I missed out on getting an ARC at TLA, but all’s well that ends well, and I’ll be digging into this highly anticipated sequel this week.
It is the last day to enter my 500 follower giveaway! Five winners will get to pick out two books from my giveaway list and it’s open internationally. Go here to enter!
So, there you go! Leave a comment and let me know what you’ve been up to! If you are a new follower, let me know about that, too, because I would love to follow back. Have a great week!
With the release of Insurgent, I believe it is time I read Divergent. *sheepish* Happy reading!

I read Divergent this week, and I’m on the waiting list for Insurgent! I got a new book to review this week from Multnomah – Where the Lilacs Still Bloom. I am so stuck on my other review books. I need to find more fun books to review. 🙂
Enjoy your reads 🙂
Wentworth Hall is on my to-read list! I would love to hear your thoughts on it when you have read it! Also, I am seeing lots of people having Insurgent on their lists this week. I look forward to seeing lots of reviews of that one coming up! Thanks for sharing your haul. Have a great week!
