Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Want To Reread

I’m participating in the Top Ten meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!  This week it’s “the top ten books I’d like to reread”.  This list contains some books that I have already read many times, but will always go back to, and some that I will reread in the future.  I’ve always been a big re-reader because once I fall in love with a book, I don’t want to leave.

1. The Hunger Games (series) by Suzanne Collins
– Oh, like that’s some big shocker.  I won’t tell you how many times I’ve read this series, but it’s a lot.

2. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
– I own this book in multiple additions and languages. Mr. Darcy was my first true love and always will be. (Apologies to my husband).

3. Matched by Ally Condie
– I plan on rereading this before Crossed comes out.

4. The Mortal Instruments (Series) by Cassandra Clare
– I kind of tore through this series since it was so good, but I would like to go back and reread it with a little more care.  The world that she creates is completely enchanting.

5. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
 – This book is another one that completely consumed me when I was younger.  I hope to reread it with my daughter, someday.

6. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
– This is another one that I own in multiple additions and languages. Something about Gatsby’s desperate and tragic need to belong was so appealing to me.  This is a book that I always go back to.

7. The Curse Workers (series) by Holly Black
– If you have not read White Cat and Red Glove, shut down your computer right now and go to your nearest bookstore.  You are missing out on something amazing.  I am going to reread this before the last in the series comes out this spring.

8.  Bossypants by Tina Fey
– This book made me laugh out loud and almost cry at the way Tina Fey perfectly worded my experiences as a working woman and a mom.  Such a perfect book!

9. Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
 – I will definitely reread this before the next in the series is published.  The romance was very poignant and well done.  I really enjoyed it.

10. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
– The ending of this book was so heartbreaking and I plan on rereading it before the next installment is released.

  1. Have you read An American Tragedy by Dreiser? That one it an unexpected love for me given what I’m normally drawn to but also one I’ve reread.

  2. I feel the need to go try Bossypants again. I started it got about 40 pages in and gave up… I just couldn’t get into it! I always love to re-read Summer Sisters by Judy Blume!

  3. Lots of great books on here, and some I haven’t heard of but plan on looking up. I read Pride and Prejudice in high school and LOVED it. Oh that Mr. Darcy =)I’m also really excited for Pandemonium. Delirium ended on the ultimate cliffhanger and I’m dying to see what’s going to happen to Alex and Lena.

You should definitely read Saving June! It was amazing and one of my favorite books (ever!)

Thanks for stopping by my blog =)

  4. I can’t believe I didn’t mention Bossypants in my list. That book is just great! I haven’t read any other book by a ‘celebrity’ and I don’t suppose I ever will; but Bossypants is definitely one of the funniest and most honest books ever!

  5. Pride and Prejudice made my list too. I also own several editions and copies, including one in Czech (of which I can’t read a word, but who cares, it’s Austen!)

Little Women is another favorite. So many wonderful characters…

  6. Hi. I found your blog using yahoo. This is a seriously intelligently written content. Let me make sure you search for the idea as well as come back to get more information within your helpful tips. Was looking for article. I’m going to absolutely return.

  7. The Absent Game…

Amongst me and my husband we have owned additional MP3 gamers through the years than I can count, such as Sansas, iRivers, iPods (typical & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few several years I’ve settled down to one line of players….

  8. I still help others and send gifts as much as I can, and if you
do this you will start accumulating gifts as well. The ratios have very little bearing on
each other, and are specifically made to be treated as ‘trade-offs’.
Obviously it is possible to’t carry out this quest except
you’ve got the trees from the 1st area.

  9. * Find out how to certainly demolish and dominate every
single level in Farm – Ville. The relationship amongst obtaining coins and leveling up hasn’t
transformed too much but new charascteristics
have routinely appeared in Farm – Ville. Not all bots aree malicious
but tilizing any bott is in opposition to the terms of
    company for Farm – Ville.
