I can’t resist a good time bender and this is definitely one to be enjoyed. Myra McEntire creates a character that is scared, yes, but not beaten down. Emerson is determined and ready to face challenges. Those are the types of protagonists that I like reading, especially in YA. Another interesting aspect was the science woven into the story. Theoretical physics might not seem like something that would make for an interesting read by itself, but in the hands of her (very handsome) male characters, it would make anyone want to put on a lab coat and jump in. In many ways it felt like sci-fi with just the right amount of romance and mystery. It’s a very enjoyable read and I am looking forward to the sequel! I gave this book 4 stars.
