Banned Books Week Giveaway Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Banned Books Week Giveaway Hop hosted by I Am A Reader and Bookhounds!  Banned Books week is meant to draw attention to the many instances of book banning and book challenging that happens in schools and public libraries throughout the country.  For more information about Banned Book Week, go here.

All of the books on my giveaway list have been banned or challenged.  Two winners will get to pick one book from the list.  This is open internationally.  Good luck and keep fighting for everyone’s freedom to read!

I’m pretty sure, it’d be To Kill A Mockingbird,… because that’s the only thing in the list that I haven’t read yet.

Thank you and more power to you! (:

I’d like to win a copy of Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. I’m kind of surprised to find it on the list but I guess almost everything is offensive to someone. Thanks.

Either Eleanor & Park or Looking For Alaska. Have read most of the others but haven’t E&P yet, and I don’t own a copy of LfA.

Thanks for the chance to win!

I’d pick Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. I’ve been wanting to read it forever now and it and the Hunger Games are the only two books on the list I haven’t read.

  5. Anastasia Falling

I think I’d choose The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky 🙂 A book I’ve been meaning to read 🙂

It is a shame to ban books just because someone may not agree with the content! I would choose a Harry Potter book, ’cause I’m a big fan!

  7. I would pick 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher! I’ve read the book, and absolutely looooooved it, but I got it from the library! It’d be great to have it on my book shelf !

  8. Daniela

I’m between Looking for Alaska and Thirteen Reasons Why. I’ve already read and loved the others 🙂
